Every local music scene has a gap. Omaha's was a cover band willing to swim in the heavy end — Korn, Deftones, Disturbed, Staind — and play it right, all night. Failsafe is five musicians who grew up on that music, who know there's an entire crowd of people who grew up on the same songs, and decided someone had to show up for them.

A native of Plattsmouth, NE, Josh blends a love of modern metal with a reverence for the classics like SRV and Hendrix, lending a soulful sound to the band. Josh uses Shure mics, TC Helicon effects, and plays PRS guitars.

Born and raised in Ashland, NE, Dave brings deep knowledge and a light, musically deft touch that's just as well suited for his worship band as it is for Failsafe. Dave plays PRS guitars and uses Line 6 Helix modeling.

Hailing from Elizabethtown, PA by way of Baltimore, MD, Jason is the guitar duo's counterbalance - playing with an aggression that matches the music. Jason plays PRS guitars, and uses Kemper Profiling and Shure mics.

Also from Ashland, NE, Chad is well-known within the local music scene for his approach and execution, drawing inspiration from both his dad and the likes of Geddy Lee. Chad plays Ibanez basses, Fender amps, and uses Shure mics.
Drums, Vocals
From Omaha's own Benson area, Alex is a highly sought-after drummer who knows how to effortlessly drive a band and keep everything tight and together. Alex plays Tama drums, Zildjian cymbals, and Evans heads.
